FAQ’s

Yes; we are capable of providing various forms of videography, including weddings, social and corporate events, as well as interviews. If you have another type of videography need, simply contact us to schedule a free consultation. 

Yes. Although Oscar Spearman Photography is based in Atlanta, Georgia, we are available to cover out-of-state events, including destination weddings. Additional travel accommodations and expenses can be discussed.  

Yes. We photograph various types of events, including social and corporate events. We can cover weddings, birthdays, family reunions, holiday socials, office parties, concerts, festivals and more. So let’s discuss the details. 

We are able to conduct studio, in-home, and in-office photoshoots, as well as outdoor on location sessions.

Yes there is. We can send you an invoice by email with directions for paying online. We accept online payments using Square invoicing.

We accept cash, check, money order, debit and credit card payments. Let us know if you require special invoicing for business purposes. There will be a $35 insufficient funds fee added for all returned checks.

You will receive a receipt for each successful payment.

Yes; we accept all major credit cards. Credit card transactions may be subject to an additional processing fee.

Taxes are not automatically included in our packages. Georgia sales tax will be added to the subtotal.

We understand that things happen. We can reschedule for your session to take place within 15 days of your original appointment. We request at least a 48-hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling prior to the original appointment. 

Booking a session includes:

• having an initial consultation by telephone
• confirming a date, time and location
• signing a written photography agreement
• paying a 50% deposit

Oscar Spearman Photography & Videography, LLC maintain copyright ownership of all images we, as photographers and content creators produce. We issue licenses to our clients for the purpose of printing and posting online. So when you purchase our photography services, upon request, we provide you with a print license that has limitations. According to our standard photography contract agreement, which we typically ask our clients to sign, clients may not resell, altar or claim copyright ownership of the images we create. As a general rule, we perform basic editing on all photos, which includes:

• Culling (i.e. narrowing down the best and most flattering photos)
• Color-correction (i.e. making sure skin, clothing and environment colors look natural)
• Sharpening
• Cropping

It is important to note that there is a difference between “editing” and “retouching.” Retouching is more involved, and is not automatically performed on every photo. We typically only retouch those images you select based on the type of photography package you order. Take headshots for example. If you book a three-look (outfit) session, we would retouch up to three images of your choice.

Retouching includes:

• Skin smoothening
• Blemish removal
• Skin wrinkle reduction or removal
• Birthmark removal or reduction
• Teeth and eye whitening
• Removal of lint and smoothening of wrinkles in clothing
• Removal of distracting objects

Depending on the photography package and service you choose, your photos will typically be ready for proofing and downloading online, or delivered in-person 5-7 business days after your session. We host your images for up to 12 months in a private online gallery.
